　　Bacon and eggs is a commonly eaten breakfast in many countries. The English and the Irish used to consider it an important part of breakfast, but it did not become popular in the United States until the 1920s and the 1930s. The expression "bacon and eggs" is sometimes used even if there are other things, like mushrooms, potatoes, toast or leans, together with the bacon and eggs for breakfast.

　　咸肉煎蛋是很多国家常见的早餐。在英国和爱尔兰，是人们过去早餐中必不可少的，但是直到二十世纪二三十年代它才开始在美国流行。咸肉煎蛋常常是早餐的代名词，这种早餐除了咸肉煎蛋外常常包括其他食物，如蘑菇、马铃薯、土司面包、豆类和香肠等。
