流浪的小猫

姥姥家里跑来一只流浪的小猫。我想它一定是独自出来玩，迷失了回家的方向；也许是它的主人遗弃了它。

A stray cat came from Grandma's house. I think it must have come out alone to play and lost its way home; maybe its owner abandoned it.

这只小猫看上去只有两个月大，身体瘦弱，黑色的脊背，嘴和腹部是白色的，很像是南极的小企鹅。浑身脏兮兮的，想必它出来已很长时间了。

The kitten looks only two months old. It is thin and has a black back. Its mouth and abdomen are white. It looks like a penguin in Antarctica. I'm dirty all over. I think it's been out for a long time.

它刚来时，我正和妈妈在院里玩耍。突然院门外传来细微的“喵喵”声，一只小猫脑袋探进来四处张望。妈妈让它赶快走，过一会儿就又回来了，如此这样好多次，最后我们决定收留它。我拿来了剩饭菜给它吃，吃饱后就躲在床底下呼呼大睡起来。我想它可能在梦中想：总算有了一个家吧。

When it first came, I was playing in the yard with my mother. All of a sudden, there was a slight "meow" outside the courtyard door. A kitten's head came in and looked around. Mom told him to hurry away, and then he came back. So many times, we finally decided to take him in. I brought leftovers for him to eat, and when I was full, I hid under the bed and went to sleep. I think it may think in a dream: finally, there is a home.
