　　I Went to Summer Palace with my friends during the summer vacation.

　　The Summer Palace, located northwest of Beijings center is mainly dominated by Longevity Hill and the Kunming Lake. It covers an expanse of 2.9 square kilometers, three quarters of which is water which is really rare for the parks in Beijing.

　　Longevity Hill is about 60 meters high and houses many buildings positioned in sequence. The front hill is rich in the splendid halls and pavilions, while the back hill, in sharp contrast, is quiet with natural beauty. We had a picnic and take a lot of pictures here to record the unique scenery. In the Summer Palace, we also find a variety of palaces, gardens, and other classical-style architectural structures. Moreover, we rent a boat and got a little break in the Kunming Lake, which was the most wonderful part. Because we could appreciate all these sceneries, meanwhile, relax ourselves.
