More Certificates, More Chances? 更多证书，意味着更多机会？

Nowadays，it seemsquite common that college students take part in different kinds ofexaminations, just in order to get the certificates. Some of them even take theexams more than once because the scores don’t meet their anticipation.According to them, more certificates mean more opportunities when finding jobs.However, I just do not agree.

现如今，为了得到证书，大学生参加各种考试确实很常见。有些人甚至考了不止一次，就因为分数不理想。对于他们来说，更多的证书意味着在找工作时有更多的机会。然而，我并不这样认为。

First of all,many students do not have a clear idea why they attend the exam ofcertificates. Most of the people do so just because they hear thesecertificates will bring them a lot of benefits. They spend a large sum of timeand money preparing for the coming exams. In order to pass it, some studentseven play truants. Some of the certificates even do not have the relation withtheir major field.

首先，很多学生对于为何参与考证没有个清楚的概念。大多数人因为听说这个证书会给自己带来多多的好处，就去考试了。他们花费了大量的时间和金钱来准备考试，为了通过考试甚至逃学。而一些证书却与自己所学的专业并不相关。

Second, studentswho spend too much time on the texts will definitely have negative effects ontheir major subjects. Most students spare no effort to pass the exams, evensacrifice their main courses. The chiefthing to remember is to master the major subjects knowledge, as to thecertificates, they can reconsider after graduate from the university. Last butnot least, the more certificates don’t mean more opportunities. Test can onlyprove that your scores have passed the line, it does not mean you have thatcompetency.

其次，那些在考证上花了太多时间的学生肯定会影响自己专业课的学习。为了通过考试，大多数人不惜一切代价，哪怕牺牲掉自己的专业课。但是最重要的是要掌握自己的专业知识。至于考证，可以在毕业后再考虑。最后，更多的证书不意味着更多的机会。考试只能证明你的分数合格，但是不代表你有能力。

A certificatedoes have its benefits to some extent, but it does not mean everything.Students should devote their precious time on their major subjects. Don’tfollow others blindly to take part in the exams. Think twice before they reallydo.

一个证书在某种程度上会有益处，但不能代表全部。学生应该把时间花在专业课的学习上面。不要盲目的去考证，三思而后行。
