马云说乐意在支付上与苹果合作

LAGUNA BEACH Calif. (Reuters)--AlibabaGroup Holdings Ltd executive chairman Jack Ma said he's open to working withApple Inc on mobile payments, as China's richest person prepares to call onHollywood this week in search of media partners.

加州拉古娜海滩（路透社）——阿里巴巴集团执行总裁马云说他乐意在移动支付上同苹果合作，本周这名中国第一富豪将前往好莱坞寻求媒体合作伙伴。

Alibaba affiliate Alipay is China's largestpayments service, while Apple just this month debuted its own version of amobile wallet, letting iPhone 6 users make payments at retailers with theirsmartphones.

阿里巴巴旗下的支付宝是中国最大的支付服务商，而本月苹果刚刚发布自己的苹果支付服务，让苹果6的用户可以利用自己的手机在零售商店进行支付。

Ma told a Wall Street Journal Digital Liveconference on Monday that he has tremendous respect for Apple CEO Tim Cook.

马云周一说他非常尊重苹果公司的CEO库克。

"I hope we can do somethingtogether," he said when asked if Alipay and Apple Pay might tie up.

“我希望我们能有所合作，”当被问及两家公司是否可能合作时他如是说。

Ma, who amassed a fortune estimated at $25billion partly through his stake in recent market debutante Alibaba, is afrequent visitor to the United States. This week, he plans to visit a number ofHollywood studios, reportedly to strike up content deals.

"I want to come here looking forpartners," he said, adding that China will eventually become the world'slargest movie market.

Alibaba, which handles more e-commercetransactions than Amazon.com Inc and eBay Inc combined, does not have much of apresence among American retail customers and Ma said his focus for now was onserving his Chinese clientele.

Ma added that he wanted to work on sellingAmerican and European products to China, reversing the typical flow of goodsover the past 10 to 15 years.

Alibaba has acquired some smaller Americancompanies such as niche online retailer 11Main and Masaid he will continue to invest in the United States.
