难忘的一件事

2008年12月的一个星期天，为了“迎世博，美化我们的家园”，妈妈的单位组织了一次活动，去城乡路上打扫卫生。

On a Sunday in December 2008, in order to "welcome the World Expo and beautify our home", my mother's unit organized an activity to clean the roads in urban and rural areas.

一早，我陪着妈妈来到了那里，看见早有叔叔、阿姨们拿着扫帚、铲子、垃圾夹在忙碌地打扫。我马上拿起夹子，就去夹垃圾了。不一会儿，我就夹了许多垃圾，袋子里都快装不下了。虽然我夹得满头大汗，但一点也感觉不到累。我看见本来脏兮兮的一条路，被我们打扫得干干净净，心里可高兴了。

Early in the morning, I accompanied my mother to come there and saw my uncles and aunts busy cleaning with brooms, shovels and garbage clips. I immediately picked up the clip and went to pick up the garbage. In a short time, I had a lot of rubbish in my bag, and I couldn't fit it. Although I was sweating, I didn't feel tired at all. I was glad to see a dirty road cleaned by us.

这就是我难忘的一件事。因为我也成为了“迎世博”的一名小小志愿者，献上了我的一份力。

This is one thing I will never forget. Because I have also become a small volunteer of "welcoming the World Expo" and have offered my share.
