我喜欢的故事

我读过很多故事，有《贪心的小猪》、《三只白鹅》、还有《小树一家》……其中，我最喜欢的是《寡妇与母鸡》。

I have read many stories, such as greedy little pig, three white geese and the little tree family Among them, my favorite is widow and hen.

这个故事讲了一个贪心的寡妇，她总想让自己养的母鸡每天多下几个蛋。于是，她每天都给母鸡喂好多好多大麦，结果母鸡变得越来越肥，最后连一个蛋也不下了。

The story tells of a greedy widow who always wants her hen to lay more eggs every day. So she fed the hen a lot of barley every day. As a result, the hen became fatter and fatter. At last, she couldn't lay an egg.

这个故事告诉我们贪婪会让人得不偿失，所以，不要投机取巧，脚踏实地才是上策。

This story tells us that greed is not worth it. So, don't try to be opportunistic. It's best to be down-to-earth.
