斯诺登研发新程序：手机变监控设备，力阻间谍行为

Edward Snowden is best known for revealing the spy programs of the US's National Security Agency, but his next project is intended to make citizens feel more secure.

爱德华•斯诺登因披露美国国家安全局的间谍计划而名声大噪，而他的下一步计划是让民众获得更多安全感。

It's an app, called Haven, that's designed to turn Android phones into all-in-one anti-spy systems.

这是一款名为“Haven”的应用程序，它能将安卓手机变为一款多功能反间谍系统。

斯诺登称，Haven会利用智能手机的各种传感器，如麦克风、移动探测器、光线探测器和摄像头，来监视房间里的变化，并记录所有细节：

"Imagine if you had a guard dog you could take with you to any hotel room and leave it in your room when you're not there. And it's actually smart, and it witnesses everything that happens and creates a record of it."

“试想一下，如果你有一只能够带入任何酒店房间的警卫犬，还可以在出门时将它留在房间，而且这只警卫犬还是智能的，它可以帮你观察所发生的一切，并记录下来。”

The idea is simple: You install the app on a cheap "burner" phone — one that can be thrown away — and then set up the phone in a place you want to monitor.

这个设计非常简单：将上述应用安装到一款便宜的“一次性手机”（用完就可以扔掉的手机）中，然后再把这台手机放到想监控的地点。

Perhaps you're in a hotel room in Hong Kong, worried that a world power is attempting to spy on your actions. What to do? Install Haven on an otherwise inexpensive Android smartphone.

或许你住在香港的某一酒店内，担心某种国际势力企图监控你的行踪。你该怎么办？这时，你可以把Haven安装到一部便宜的安卓智能手机之中。

You can program it to start recording or taking photos if someone enters your room. Those recordings can then be sent securely to your personal phone, perhaps through an encrypted-communication tool like Signal.

对此应用进行设置，一旦有人进入房间，就会开启录制或者拍摄模式。这些内容将通过Signal等加密通讯工具安全传输到你的个人手机中。

As the image above demonstrates, Haven uses encrypted services like Signal and Tor that let users retain full control of the communication.

In so many words, the app is intended to turn a smartphone into a personal security system.

"We designed Haven as a tool for investigative journalists and people at risk," Snowden says in a video introducing the app.

斯诺登在一段说明视频中表示：“Haven就是我们为调查记者以及那些深陷危险中的人设计的工具。”

斯诺登指出，Haven目前仍处于测试阶段，还存在很多误报情况。第一个公开测试版已经正式发布，可以在Google Play商店和免费开源安卓应用商店F-Droid上下载。
