既遇之 则乐之

Tonight,

今晚

on my flight from Indianapolis to Baltimore

在我乘飞机回巴尔的摩的途中

I sat next to an unaccompanied minor

我坐在一个不认识的小女孩旁边

who was traveling to Baltimore to see her Mother.

她乘飞机去巴尔的摩看妈妈

With Southwest Airlines open seating

西南航空的班机上，乘客可以随意选座

anyone could have sat next to her,

任何人都可能坐在她旁边

in fact many people avoided her

and her boundless energy during boarding.

But finally,

a couple occupied the two seats to her right.

Within minutes the young girl began chatting

and the couple likely realized this wouldn’t be a relaxing flight

As drinks were being served

the couple didn’t even get a chance to voice their requests

because they were cut off by the young girl stating,

‘I’ll take water with a straw

and so will they

so we can paint!’.

And they just rolled with it.

Within minutes

the young girl had brought out her Hello Kitty paint sheets

小女孩拿出了自己的彩绘板

and the couple spent the next hour following her instructions

接下来的一个小时里，这对情侣都按照小女孩的指示毕恭毕敬的作画

As I type this

当我写着这篇文章的时候

the man next to her is being covered with Marvel stickers.

坐在小女孩身边的大哥哥满脸贴满了贴纸

They are on his ears, in his beard, arms, everywhere.

他的两只耳朵，大胡子，还有胳膊上随处可见贴纸

And he is just rolling with it.

他却欣然接受

Moral of the story:

这个故事告诉我们

There is good in this world.

世界上总有善良的人

In fact, there is more good than bad in this world

事实上，世界上的好人比坏人多

if we just open our eyes to it.

睁开眼睛，你就会看到

There isn’t a script or instruction manual for love.

You just have to roll with it.
