看英剧学口语：“过去的就让它过去”

面对伦敦突发而且极其严重的雾霾和首相丘吉尔的固执，伊丽莎白要如何应对？《王冠》口语表达学习第三波。

1. If you’re feeling up to it, there was something I wanted to talk to you about.

如果你觉得身体状况还不错，我有些事想和你聊聊。

Notes: “feel up to something”表示“觉得能够胜任，可以对付某事，觉得身体能承受”。例如：

Notes: “track down”的意思是“追踪，找到”。例如：

Notes: “That's something.”是指某件事情值得高兴，值得开心或自豪。例如：

Today little Mary said the first word since she was born. That’s something.

我在测验里得了满分。

5. Let bygones be bygones.

过去的事就让它过去吧。

Notes: 中文里人们常说的“既往不咎”“过去的事就让它过去。”在英文中还真有对应的谚语：Let bygones be bygones. “bygones”的意思是“往事，往昔恩怨”。例如：

How about we let bygones be bygones and start over?

不如我们既往不咎，重新开始？

6. Not bloody bad.

别这么坏！（坏孩子）

Notes: “bloody”这个单词作为副词有“很”的意思，在英国俚语中表示“十分，非常，极”，一般带有强烈的感情色彩，多贬义，慎用。不过在剧中的这句台词里，它带有开玩笑的性质，故意说得程度很深，凸显孩子的调皮。例如：

He’s stubborn as a mule. It's bloody useless to persuade him to change his mind.

他像骡子一样固执，劝他改主意根本不可能。
