英语流行语:离婚预约 divorce appointment

为了缓解夫妻之间因为一时冲动草率离婚的现状，浙江省慈溪市民政局4月出台了“预约离婚登记制度”。三个月多过去了，约有40%预约离婚的夫妻最终没有办离婚手续。

Couples are told tomake an appointment at least seven days after they file for a divorce. More than 40 percent of those who came to the bureau to get a divorce in April, May and June didn't return for their final appointments.

提出离婚的夫妻被告知要办理至少7天以后的预约登记。4月到6月期间办理预约的夫妻有40%最终都没有来办理离婚登记。

Make an appointment就是“预约”，这里的“离婚预约”就是divorce appointment。“与某人预约”则可用make/fix an appointment with somebody来表示。例如：I made an appointment with my dentist for 4 pm today. (我今天下午四点约好要去看牙。)

过去，两个人不管结婚还是离婚都需要各自的单位出具letters of introduction(介绍信)，civil affairs bureau(民政局)才会给办理marriage/divorce registration(结婚/离婚登记)。如今，很多城市都已经simplify the divorce procedure(简化离婚程序)，getting a divorce on impulse(冲动离婚)的情况也屡见不鲜。离婚后又“复婚”可以用remarry someone或restore a marriage来表示。
