你的男朋友给你买过“消气戒指”吗？

　　约会迟到？说话不算数？打游戏忘了你？男朋友总是有各种各样的原因会惹女友生气，但是，如果他能送你一枚enragement ring（消气戒指），估计大多数女生都会阴转晴吧！

　　An enragement ring is a piece of jewelry, typically a ring that is purchased for a girlfriend in an effort to make her happy after you have made her angry.

　　“消气戒指”就是男朋友在惹女友生气后买来给女友让她开心的一件首饰，通常是一个戒指。

　　Boyfriends are likely to make their girlfriends angry all the time. Apparently oral apologies are not sincere enough. Thus buying their girlfriends an enragement ring, a gift that they couldn’t resist, would distract their attention and make them happy while help boys pull through. However, a ring might not be enough if the boy made a huge mistake.

　　惹女朋友生气一定是男生身上经常发生的事，光是口头道歉显然缺乏诚意，因此如果给女朋友买一个像首饰这种让她毫无抵御力的小礼物，即能转移她的注意力，让她心情愉悦，也能让你度过她生气的“难关”，何乐而不为呢？当然如果你犯了大错，那一个小戒指可能就不够咯。

　　B: Yeah, you're right, she's pretty mad. I might have to buy her an 'enragement ring' to smooth things over.

　　A: 哇，你女朋友一定对你在外过夜没给她打电话很生气。你准备怎么办？

　　B：你说的没错，她非常生气。我可能要给她买一个消气戒指让她平息一下怒火了。
