After IELTS Test
Few days ago, after finishing taking my IELTS training classes at new oriental school, I finally stepped into the IELTS test room for real.
Just like everyone else, I felt nervous but excited, for not knowing whats about to happen. But one thing is for sure-I had rather plenty credits on myself as I walked in to that so-looked mysterious building.
The test lasted a whole day, for me, thats bad news for I like to finish the battle within a handful time, with no interruption in the whole process. But things dont always go like ones wish, as I spent the whole afternoon waiting for my oral test
Lets start with listening test, alright? Every single one of the roast ducks was given a wireless earphone. Before the test, music was played for us to check our equipments, as well as, at least for me, to peace the mind. And soon the listening test began, really not much to say here, just listen and write, and try not to sleep, my absent mind made me miss two questions, such a shame.
After listening, its reading comprehension, I did everything as I was taught during the class . I simply read every passage from beginning to ending and again and again to find my answer OVER AND OVER AGAIN with the questions, and key words, luckily I read fast, god bless.
Writing, I dont even remember what I wrote about, but I do remember the word Fluctuate. The only other thing I remember about is that I finished the test about 10 to 20 minutes before the ending of the test.
Last but not least, the oral English test, the one I have most credit on but scored the least- I couldnt explain the reason, maybe, by taking a wild guess, the judge was too tired in that last afternoon, and didnt really pay attention to this handsome man in front of him. I bet if it was a female teacher I could score mush higher, haha, just kidding.
While, please allow me to put my score out, for you must be wondering how did this guy do in the test on end? While, so so. I scored 7 in total with 8 in listening and 76.5 in reading writing respectively, and an unfairly, at least I think, a 6 in oral, the judge mustve be talking in sleep, must be.
Thank you for your time.
