Reddit user Brendan managed to hack into his parents' phones and apply a shortcut that meant when someone typed 'no' it automatically changed to 'hell yes'.

The whizzkid used the hack to get exactly the response he wanted when he asked if he could throw a party.

In a screenshot of the hilarious group conversation, Brendan asks: "Hey guys can I throw a party tmrw night?"
