查字典有很多方法，比如拼音查字法，知道字的读音，不知道字的意义，就用拼音查字法：先找汉语拼音音节索引中声母部分，再查韵母部分，再找字的读音，找到对应的页数，最后找到要查的字。

There are many ways to look up a dictionary, such as pinyin search. If you know the pronunciation of a word and don't know the meaning of a word, you can use pinyin search: first look up the initial part of the Chinese Pinyin syllable index, then look up the vowel part, then look up the pronunciation of the word, find the corresponding number of pages, and finally find the word to look up.

还有部首查字法，看到自己不认识的字后，先观察字的结构，找到字的部首，数出笔画在部首检字表中查出部首的页数，然后在检字表中找部首及对应的页数，再查出其它部分的笔画数，就找到这个字了，我就可以了解这个字的读音、组词和意义了。

There is also the method of checking radical characters. When I see a word I don't know, I first observe the structure of the word, find the radical of the word, count the strokes, find out the pages of the radical in the radical checklist, then find the radicals and the corresponding pages in the checklist, and then find out the strokes of other parts, and then I will find the word. Then I can understand the pronunciation, word formation and meaning of the word.
