查字典的方法

今天，我要给小朋友们教一下查字典的方法。

一是拼音检字法。会读但不会写的字，可以用这个方法。比如查“杨”字：首先，到“汉语拼音音节索引”中的字母“Y”里找见“yang 559”。然后，就从正文中的559页开始找，你就会在560页找见“杨”字了。

二是部首检字法。会写但不会读的字，可以用这个方法。比如查“淇”字：首先，在“部首目录”中的三画里找见“氵24”。然后在“检字表”中的24页查，因为“其”是八画，所以你可以在“氵”部的八画中查见“淇381”。最后在正文381页就可以查见“淇”。

Second, radical orthography. Can write but can't read the word, can use this method. For example, look up the word "Qi": first of all, find "Yi 24" in the three paintings in the "catalogue of radicals". Then look it up on page 24 of the "checklist". Because "Qi" is eight paintings, you can look up "Qi 381" in the eight paintings of "Yi". Finally, you can find Qi on page 381 of the text.
