一次有意义的散步

一天傍晚，我和爸妈走上那条废弃的马路。车很少来往，路的旁边种了好多蔬菜，有丝瓜、南瓜、花生、夜开花、毛芋艿、红薯、茄子、带豆。

One evening, my parents and I walked up the deserted road. Cars seldom come and go. There are many vegetables planted beside the road, such as loofah, pumpkin, peanut, night blooming, taro, sweet potato, eggplant and beans.

一开始我一点都不知道，后来妈妈教会我怎么辨认。南瓜和夜开花的叶子非常相似，很难辨认，妈妈让我观察它们的花，南瓜的花是黄色的，而夜开花的花是白色的。毛芋艿的叶子很像荷叶，滑溜溜的。带豆很奇怪，它的根盘绕着小棒生长，挂满了一根根又细又长的小辫子。

At first I didn't know at all, but later my mother taught me how to recognize. Pumpkin and night blooming leaves are very similar, it is difficult to identify. My mother asked me to observe their flowers. Pumpkin flowers are yellow, while night blooming flowers are white. The leaves of taro are very like lotus leaves. It's strange to take beans with it. Its roots grow around the sticks and are covered with a long and thin pigtail.

我说走累了，爸爸妈妈只好让我往回走，于是我就向山下跑去。

I said I was tired, so my parents had to let me go back, so I ran down the mountain.
