植树

自从学了《一个小村庄的故事》以后，我越来越觉得植树很重要，就一直想栽一棵小树苗，我把这个想法告诉了爸爸：爸爸我们可不可以在清江河边去栽一棵小树呢？爸爸说：“当然可以，这样既能保护环境，又能防止空气污染。”

于是我们就在街上买了一棵小树苗。

So we bought a little sapling in the street.

我和爸爸妈妈来到清江河边，选了块空地，用铲子挖了个坑，然后我把小树苗小心翼翼地放进坑里，我又拿着铲子，使劲把土一铲一铲地抛进树坑，爸爸双手紧紧地扶正小树苗。树坑里的土逐渐变多，我的额头上也滚落下一颗颗豆大的汗珠。妈妈对我说：“你休息一会儿，让我来吧！”我摇摇头说：“不用了，我不累！”妈妈拿着装满水的小桶给小树浇水，水顺着土流到树苗的根部。

My father and mother came to the Qingjiang River, chose a vacant lot, dug a pit with a shovel, and then I carefully put the small saplings into the pit, I took the shovel, and vigorously shoveled the soil into the pit, and my father firmly supported the small saplings with his hands. The soil in the tree pit gradually becomes more and more, and a bean sized sweat drops from my forehead. My mother said to me, "take a break, let me do it!" I shook my head and said, "no, I'm not tired!" Mother took a bucket full of water to water the tree. The water flowed down the soil to the roots of the seedlings.

看着小树苗我自言自语地说：“以后每年的今天我就会来这里种下一棵树，让它们给你作伴。也许二十年后，这里就成了一片小树林呢！”

Looking at the young trees, I said to myself, "I will come here every year to plant a tree and let them be your company. Maybe twenty years later, it will be a small forest! "
