近年来，“人设崩塌”这个词常常被大众提及。隔段时间就有消息报道某些公众人物的人设崩塌了，比如有的丑闻被曝光，光辉形象黯然失色。

它是啥意思呢？

人设崩塌，一般指人物形象没有扮演好，多指经纪人给明星设定公众形象不到位。另一方面就是指某人的形象因为某件事情而声名俱毁。

因此，总的来讲，“人设崩塌”说的就是，某人的形象前后不一致、不统一。

我们可以通过相关英文短语/词组表达出“人设崩塌”的意思。

1. 用“违反”表达

fly in the face of 完全违反

指与正常所见完全不同（to completely oppose what seems normal）

最近的绯闻让亚历山大的“好男人”人设崩塌了。

如果从“相反”的意思上出发，我们还可以把上面的fly in the face of替换成

2. 用on the one hand ... on the other hand句式表达变化

on the one hand ... on the other hand意为“一方面……另一方面”，表示相反的状况（comparing two different facts）。
