学会这些习语，来一场说走就走的旅行

“要么旅行要么读书，身体和灵魂总有一个要在路上”。今天总结了一些和旅游有关的习语，好想来一场说走就走的旅行啊。

1. at the crack of dawn

大清早，黎明，破晓时分

一大早就出发的旅行实在是不敢回想，困死宝宝了。

I was up at the crack of dawn to get the plane.

为了乘飞机，我破晓时就起身了。

2. travel light

轻装旅行

最怕大包小包的旅行啦，“轻装上阵”就好！这里的light是副词，意思是轻装地，轻便地。

I always try to travel light.

我总是尽可能轻装旅行。

3. hit the road

离开，出发

hit的本义是“击；打；撞”，强调具体地或抽象地碰撞及其目的性及力度。引申义可表示“出发，上路，到达”等。

I'd love to stay longer but I must be hitting the road.

我很想多呆一段时间，可我必须要走了。

4. catch the sun

（皮肤）被晒黑

悠闲地躺在海边懒懒的晒太阳，是不是很享受呢？然后旅行的成果就是晒黑啦！

You've caught the sun on the back of your neck.

你脖子后面都晒黑了。

5. live it up

享乐，玩乐

He's alive and well and living it up in the Bahamas.

他活蹦乱跳的，正在巴哈马群岛吃喝玩乐呢。

这个习语的意思就是享受人生，过快乐的日子，而live up to的意思就完全不一样， 6. get itchy feet

渴望周游各处；渴望去新的地方

itchy的意思是使人发痒的，想出门旅游想得我心痒痒！

I am starting to get itchy feet after reading her travel blog.

看完她的旅行博客之后我也想四处旅行了。

After three years in the job she began to get itchy feet.

这工作干了3年后，她开始想换工作。

7. get a move on

赶快；加紧

想想旅行中，是不是总有一个叽叽喳喳催促别人快点走的人！

Come on, you two, get a move on!

走吧，你们俩，快点！

Buck up! We'll be late if you don't get a move on.

赶快！要是你不赶紧，我们就要迟到了。

8. one for the road

离别前的最后一杯酒

这个短语让我想到了《寻梦环游记》，Coco的爸爸埃克托本来已经准备回家，却被搭档陷害喝下了一杯毒酒，留下Coco数十年如一日的思念着父亲。

Before I went home, he persuaded me to have one for the road.

我告辞回家前，他劝我最后喝上一杯。

9. call it a day

结束工作；到此为止；收工

如果你的小伙伴精力过剩，你却累的走不动的话，就可以说一句“call it a day”。

I'm bushed. Let's call it a day.

我太累了，今天到此为止吧。
