深夜的无名骑士

Late this evening,

入夜已深

I got a ride to the local grocery store.

我搭便车去附近的杂货店买东西

After loading up my cart

我在购物车里堆满了商品

and checking out,

准备结账

my phone dies

没想到我的手机死机了

right as I'm about to confirm my uber.

就在我准备输入支付密码的时候

No portable charger on me

我身上没有移动充电器

(none sold in the grocery store) ,

杂货店里也没有卖的

no friends nearby,

没有朋友在我身旁

I don't know the way back

我甚至不知道回去的路

and even if I did

就算我知道,

walking alone,

独自回去

at night,

在这样的深夜

as a female,

一个女人

is not a good idea

这可不是什么好主意。

I of course had a panic attack.

理所当然的，我感到一阵恐慌

So this post is a thank you to Kameron,

A store employee

他是店里的一个店员

who asked me what was wrong,

问我是不是遇到了什么问题

was super friendly,

态度特别友好

found a charger,

为我找到了充电器

and charged my phone.

帮我手机充了电

He helped me

他帮助了我

when no one else would,

当其他人漠不关心的时候

and by doing so

而且多亏他的帮助

got me home safe and sound.

我安全的回到了家里
