Actress Carol Ann Susi, best known for her recurring role as Mrs. Wolowitz on CBS’ “The Big Bang Theory,” has died, her agent, Pam Ellis-Evenas, confirmed to the Los Angeles Times.

Susi died Tuesday morning in Los Angeles after a "brief battle with an aggressive cancer," Ellis-Evenas said. She was 62.
