PARIS, Nov. 9 -- Lille provisionally reclaimed their second position at the Ligue 1 table despite a 0-0 draw against Strasbourg at home in the 13th round of French Ligue 1 on Friday.

Strasbourg had triumphed the two sides' last duel 2-0 last month in the French League Cup round of 32. Lille, who conceded their second place following last weekend's loss to runaway leaders Paris Saint-Germain, dominated the possession and finished a total of 22 shots compared with their opponents' four, but failed to convert their lopsided advantage into a single goal throughout the match.

With the result, Lille have moved past Montpellier by a one-point margin, but the latter have one less match played, where they will visit Angers on Saturday.

PSG, who have registered their 12th straight victory to open the season, will face struggling Monaco on Sunday.
