Six pairs of panda cubs met their fans at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Sichuan province on Saturday. The base, along with the United Nations Development Program, launched an event to promote awareness of panda preservation. The panda base witnessed the record birth of 12 panda twins from June 22 to Sept 16 this year.
