Notes: 关于什么即将到来有很多种表达，例如之前介绍过的on the way, near at hand, around the corner，这里有个新的短语draw near，它表示靠近，邻近。例如：

The Winter Holiday is drawing near.

寒假就快到了。

His car drew near and we should go.

他把车开过来了，我们该走了。

hold a celebration表示举行庆祝活动，再例如：

Let’s hold a celebration to welcome the new year.

让我们举行个迎新年庆祝活动吧。
