一说起英文的“祝你好运”,你的脑海里是不是第一个跳出Good luck?其实,歪果仁倒不拘泥这一种表达,换成下面几种说法照样祝你好运哦~
1. Keep one's fingers crossed
祝人家好运,希望事情顺利时,歪果仁常常会做一个中指和食指的交叉动作,并用到这个短语,也可以说cross one's fingers。
例:Keep your fingers crossed. I just sent out my college applications.
祝我好运吧,我刚刚交了大学入学申请。
2. Break a leg
除了扭手指,歪果仁祝你好运还会摔断腿,这个短语最早用于在别人登台演出前说,因为演员们迷信台下听到good luck,台上反而会变成bad luck,所以在祝他们好运时也要反着说。另外,这个短语还被认为源自古希腊,那时观众用跺脚表示对台上演员的称赞,要是台下观众跺断了腿,不是正好说明演员表演得很棒嘛~
