谁患了“盲目爱娃症”？

　　你有没有遇到过这样的父母，明明自己的孩子长得不是很漂亮，眼睛小小，鼻子塌塌，他们却觉得自己的孩子可爱至极。这种现象我们叫做baby goggles（盲目爱娃症）。

　　Baby goggles is a phenomenon where the parents of an ugly baby think their baby is adorable and no one else does. They ignore the shortcomings of their baby’s looks on purpose.

　　盲目爱娃症是一种父母觉得自己孩子异常可爱而旁人却没有同样感受的现象。他们刻意地忽视孩子长相上的缺点。

　　It is the same as people who find the dishes they cook tolerably savory. Although the baby is ugly, parents would still profess a profound sentiment for him out of the ten-month pregnancy period and incubation, bringing him to the world as the product of their romance, which leads them to consider their child the cutest baby.

　　就像自己烧的菜自己一定会觉得香喷喷的，虽然孩子很丑，但父母依旧会因为这是他们爱情的结晶和10月怀胎的孕育而对自己的孩子有着旁人无法理解的感情，进而觉得他们的孩子闪闪发光，是天底下最可爱的小朋友。

　　Lisa Kate (after one look at Nancy's ugly baby): Ohhhh...! Yessss....

　　Lisa to Kate: I think Nancy has baby goggles - that's got to be the ugliest baby I've ever seen!

　　丽萨和凯特：（看完南希的丑娃娃一眼后）：哦……！是……
