中国成语故事：楚人畏鬼

There was a person of the state of Chu who feared ghosts very much.

After knowing this, a thief climbed on the top of wall of his yard, and mimicked the sound of ghost. He was very happy to find the host didn't dare to look out and was afraid of ghosts as expected. After doing this for four or five days, the thief sneaked into the man's house and took away everything.

Not long before, there was ghost in his house again. Although he found the things missing in the thief's home, he thought that they had been taken by the ghost and then given to the thief by the ghost instead of believing that man was a thief.

楚国有个人非常怕鬼。

一个小偷得知他这一特点后，在夜里爬上他家的院墙学鬼叫。发现主人看也不敢朝外看，果然十分怕鬼，心中大喜。这样学了四五天鬼叫后，小偷溜进房间中将财务一卷而空。

不久，他家里果然闹起鬼来。虽然他丢失的东西在小偷家里找了出来，但他却坚持认为是鬼偷了之后送给小偷的，根本不相信那个人是小偷。
