　　一般来说，大型演出开始前，剧场都会提醒观众将手机关闭或者调到静音状态，以免打扰到正常演出。可近两年，美国一些剧场却主动为观众提供专座，让他们在演出过程中随意用手机等移动设备拍照发微博。

　　Several performing arts companies around the United States are providing in-house zones where patrons can use their cell phones to share thoughts during a show, using Twitter, the popular social networking service.

　　美国有几家艺术演出公司已在为观众提供指定座位，以方便他们在演出过程中通过社交网站推特分享观感。

　　The marketing value of such an addition is clearly attractive. Subscription rates are falling across the country, and a younger audience remains elusive. Live tweeting - silent, of course - is seen as a way to enhance the experience for the tweeter and to encourage followers to see the show.

　　这一新增举措的市场价值显然是有吸引力的。全国剧场的门票收入都在下降，而年轻一代的观众又游移不定。在演出现场实时发微博，当然要在静音状态下进行，被视作是一种既可以提升微博观众观看演出的体验又能鼓励更多粉丝来看演出“一举两得”的方式。
