　　again 用法小议　

　　1. 不与那些已含有 again 意义的动词 连用：

　　请再说一遍。

　　正：Please repeat it. / Please say it again.

　　误：Please repeat it again.

　　但若要强调，again 本身却可以叠用：I have told you againand again not to play there. 我已再三叫你们不要在那儿玩。

　　有时也可见 again 与 repeat 之类的词连用，那表示的是第三次而不是第二次：Repeat it again, please. 请把它再重复一遍 。

　　2. again 虽然可以表示再、又，但并不是汉语中所有的再、又都能用 again 来翻译的：

　　我们班又有两个学生入了团。

　　正：Two more students in our class joined the League.

　　正：Another two students in our class joined the League.

　　误：Two students in our class joined the League again.
