as a highly profitable industry, tourism needs to develop new items of interest. my suggestion is landscape plus chinese calligraphy. i think its quite potential for two reasons. the first is that chinese calligraphy is an art which is so naturally and nicely incorporated with chinas abundant resources of landscape.
the second reason is that chinese calligraphy has such fascination for foreign tourists especially westerners. imagine a scenery spot displaying artists masterpieces of chinese calligraphy! such blend can nowhere be enjoyed outside of china.
