多选题是雅思阅读考试里一项比较难而且比较另类的题型,因为其他任何题型只会有一个答案与之对应,而多选题往往会要从选项中选出2-3个答案。在我的另一篇文章中,对多选题的解题技巧做过一次总结。在这里再补充一些更加细节的技巧怎样判断题点在原文中的位置。
比如:
The list below gives some statements about anthropology.
Which TWO statements are mentioned by the writer of the text?
一看题目让我们找anthropology相关的东西,翻回原文发现文章标题是archeology,所以整篇文章肯定都在说archeology,而我们要找的anthropology肯定只是其中集中讲述的一个插曲段落。所以出题位置肯定相对集中,而且肯定明显包含anthropology字样。只需稍微瞟一眼整篇文章,很快就能发现,几乎每一段的开头都是以archeology开头,唯一例外的是第4和5段,以anthropology开头。所以 20-21肯定就在这两段之内。
这是根据题干的关键词来推测定位。

Which TWO of these tasks are mentioned by the writer of the text?
一看题目觉得糟了,让我们找archeologist相关的东西,但是全文都在说archeology,怎么办,没法从题干中得到更多信息了。
是的,题干没有更多信息可以挖掘的时候,我们还能从前后来进行挖掘,全文一共有10个段落,刚才的21题出题位置是在第5段。紧邻其后的24-27题在题干中明确写道:Complete the summary of the last two paragraphs所以24-27题出题位置在9-10段。
根据整体的顺序原则来看,22-23便应该处于中间的6-8段。这么一来我们稍微仔细看看6-8段的开头,就能发现,其中最长的第7段一开头就是one of the most important tasks of archeologist.,所以基本上能够肯定出题位置就从这个附近开始。
这是根据题目间的关系来推测定位。
还有一个例子:
Which TWO important implications drawn from the Nicaraguan study are mentioned by the writer of the passage?
题干中最吸引眼球的就是Nicaraguan这个词了,因为是个非常好的地理名词,专有名词。很少有同学能够注意到implications这个词。这个词的意思是推论,作为一个推论,必定是出现在实验或者研究的结论之后,所以要找implications的话,肯定出题的地方至少在后半段。还得是后半段中出现Nicaraguan的地方,这么两个条件加起来,也就只有倒数第三段的开头了,所以出题的位置便是从这里开始,到文章的末尾。
这是根据题干中隐含的细节来推测定位。
所以任何一个题干中其实都隐藏着很多很多的细节,而这些细节能够极大的帮助我们去缩短阅读范围,集中精力来寻找题目关键词。
