生活口语之“人物描述”(附讲义)

想夸别人漂亮但只会说beautiful？想称赞对方性格好人品好，却只能憋出一句you are a good person？提到介绍、描述人物时我们总是苦于词穷或者辞不达意，明明有那么多丰富的形容词和鲜活的表达法，不拿到日常交际中使用是不是很吃亏啊？

在说到“人的时候到底会用到哪些词语呢？先来从年龄看起吧！不同年龄阶段的叫法是怎样的：

child: a boy or girl from the time of birth until he or she is an adult

baby / infant: a very young child, especially one that has not yet begun to walk or talk

toddler: a young child, especially one who is learning or has recently learned to walk

teenager: a young person between 13 and 19 years old

adolescent: a young person who is developing into an adult

adult: a person or animal that has grown to full size and strength

Face, Hair and Coloring 脸型和发型的表达：
1）face shapes
oval / round / square / heart-shaped / oblong

经典句型- 选自《飘》：Scarlett recalled with contempt Melanie’s thin childish figure, her serious heart-shaped face that was plain almost to homeliness.

2) complexion 面容
fair / dark / rosy / pale / tanned / freckled

3）hair length, hair color & hair style 头发长度、颜色和发型
