They serve excellent food.

(他们做的饭菜很好吃。)

这里的serve指“提供(食物、饮料等)”。

Their food is excellent.

(这里的饭菜很好吃。)

The food they serve is delicious.

差不多。

Which tastes better?

(哪一家味道好一点?)

They’re alike.

(差不多。)

alike “一样的”、 “类似的”。

They’re quite similar.

quite “相当”、 “很”。similar “相似的”。

They’re a lot alike.

They’re almost the same.

(他们几乎一样。)

almost “几乎”、 “大致上”。

我想我还能再吃点。

Are you full?

(你饱了吗?)

I think I can eat more.

(我想我还能再吃点。)

I think ... “我想……”。more “更多”。

I can probably have more.

I still have room for more food.

have room for ... “有做……的余地(可能性)”。

我还可以再吃一些甜点。

Did you have enough to eat?

(你吃饱了吗?)

I still have room for dessert.

(我还可以再吃一些甜点。)

这里的room指“空间”、 “余地”。

I could still handle dessert.

I’ve got plenty of room for dessert.

(我还可以吃好多甜点。)

plenty of ... “大量的”。
