One of the most helpful habits that I've recently picked upis to create a short to-do list at the start of every day. What I do is write just three tasks I have to tackle so that the list isn't overwhelming. With such a short list, the tasks take on a higher priority, which motivates me to get them done.

最近，我养成了一个非常有用的习惯：每天早上列一张当天要完成的小清单。我每天所做的仅仅是写下三个当天要完成的任务，使清单不至于令我难以应付。有了这张小清单，我将会优先考虑这些任务，以此激发自己完成它们。

If you plan on using this method, you need to look back to the to-do list as the day goes by and cross tasks off the list as you finish them. And when the day is over, throw out the list so that you can start fresh the next day. That way, you won't have to deal with a lingering to-do list that will never get done. Having a never-ending to-do list can start to weigh on you, so it's best to keep it short and sweet!

如果你想要用这个方法，你需要随时回顾你当天的清单，然后把你已经完成了的任务从上面划掉。当天结束后，把清单扔掉，那样你便可以开始全新的明天。用这种方法，你将不用去处理那些永远也完不成的清单。罗列一张无止尽的清单将会给你造成压力，所以最好的方式是使清单短小精悍。
