地球，一个生我们养我们的星球。然而有些人却对地球进行着一系列的环境破坏，甚至还觉得这么做没有什么关系。事实却并非如此，如果地球被破坏了，那么也就是人类将走向毁灭。保护环境是每一个公民应尽的义务。就说上个礼拜星期三吧，我也参加了护绿活动。

“护绿小卫士”行动马上开始了。首先，靳老师告诉我们，我们所要做的“工作”就是把这里的垃圾捡干净，把花坛里的杂草拔掉，还要我们注意安全。说完，我们就开始“工作”了。我先把衣袖翻起来，免得把衣服搞脏了，于是就带着垃圾袋走进花坛里。进了草坪，我一眼就看见了“隐藏”在花坛里的一只塑料罐。心里美滋滋的：哈哈，刚进花坛就发现了垃圾，真是太好了！于是我伸手去捡，谁知花坛里种着一种长有刺的草，我右手的手背不小心碰了一下刺，被划了一道痕，带出了点点血丝，痛痛的，我连忙用手捂住那里。此时此刻，刚才的高兴已经烟消云散，取而代之的是疼痛和生气。什么东西吗？太可恶了，我不干了！我心想。但是我又不由得想起了那次我看见公民道德本上的第十章《保护环境，善待地球》上写着：“保护生态环境是每一个公民所应该尽到的职责。”我们现在做的事不也是在保护生态环境吗？

再说这只是划了一道痕，有什么了不起的，红军二万五千里长征都挺过来，这点皮肉之伤又算得了什么呢？想到这些，我又伸手去捡那只塑料罐，把它放进垃圾袋里。与此同时，我发现别人都捡了好多了，就争先恐后地捡着，想多为保护环境出点力。最后时间到了，我拎着两只沉甸甸的垃圾袋来到垃圾箱前，扔掉了我这次捡的垃圾，心里比吃了蜜还甜。事后，我想：虽然我现在对环境保护只能做这些事情，但是等我长大后一定会保护地球环境做出更多、更好的贡献，让地球永远美丽灿烂！
