池塘

夏天，世界像火炉一样的热，火辣辣的太阳当头照，而我家的池塘边却凉凉的。

In summer, the world is as hot as a stove, the hot sun is shining, but my pond is cool.

里有一大片一大片的荷花，荷叶碧绿碧绿的真惹人爱，一大朵一大朵的荷花立在荷叶间，有粉的，有白的，有粉白相间的，就如一个个亭亭玉立的小姑娘。

蜻蜓在荷叶间飞上飞下，犹如我们放飞的风筝，一会儿飞到东，一会儿飞到西，一会儿飞到池塘边的大树下呱呱呱。。。我仿佛听见一只青蛙在说我放得风筝好高啊!，另一只在说我放的快掉下来了!，也有的说我放的好低啊!。。。。。。

Dragonflies fly up and down among lotus leaves, just like kites we fly. They fly to the East, the West and the big trees near the pond... I seem to hear one frog saying that I can fly a kite so high! The other one is saying that I can fly a kite so fast that it will fall down! Some also say that I can fly a kite so low!......
