蛋糕斜塔

今天是我的生日，妈妈放学时带我去买了个特大的三层楼蛋糕，漂亮极了，回来的路上我不停地咽口水，真想吃一口！

Today is my birthday. My mother took me to buy a huge three-story cake after school. It's very beautiful. I keep swallowing on the way back. I really want to have a bite!

回到家，妈妈却说要等爸爸回来了再过生日，然后走进厨房去做菜了。这时候弟弟来了，我们两个看着大蛋糕，馋得直流口水。瞧，它一共有三层，高高的，简直像一座宝塔，可是它的四周却涂满了奶油，真香呀！为什么现在不可以吃呢？妈妈真小气！我灵机一动，想出了一个好办法。我对弟弟说：“我们从蛋糕的中心开始吃吧，这样妈妈就看不出来了。”弟弟翘起大拇指说：“姐姐真聪明。”于是，我小心地在蛋糕底部挖了个洞，把手指伸进去，把里面的蛋糕和奶油挖出来，尝一口，真甜啊，连手指都是甜的。弟弟也照着我的样子，从这个洞里吃奶油蛋糕。我们吃得津津有味，蛋糕慢慢地向这边斜过来了。

Back home, mom said she would wait for Dad to come back for her birthday, and then went into the kitchen to cook. At this time, my brother came. We both looked at the big cake and were greedy. Look, it has three layers in total. It's tall and looks like a pagoda, but it's surrounded by cream. It's delicious! Why can't you eat it now? Mom is so mean! I came up with a good idea. I said to my brother, "let's start at the center of the cake so that mom can't see." The younger brother raised his thumb and said, "elder sister is so smart." So, I carefully dug a hole in the bottom of the cake, put my finger in it, dug out the cake and cream inside, and tasted it. It's really sweet. Even my fingers are sweet. My brother also ate cream cake from this hole as I did. We ate with great relish, and the cake slanted slowly to this side.

正在这时，妈妈从厨房出来了，她看到了斜斜的蛋糕和我们嘴上白白的奶油，没等妈妈开口，我连忙说：“妈妈，我们正在研究比萨斜塔斜到什么时候才会倒下去呢。”妈妈忍不住哈哈大笑。

Just then, my mother came out of the kitchen. She saw the slanting cake and the white cream on our mouth. Before my mother said anything, I said, "Mom, we are studying when the Leaning Tower of Pisa will fall." Mom couldn't help laughing.
