老汤自白

你认识我吗?我叫汤诗琦，是山东省博兴县第一小学三年级五班的一名学生，今年已度过了九个“六一”儿童节。

别看我长得瘦，但个子挺高。我有一双炯炯有神的大眼睛，自认为长得够酷。只可惜有一点美中不足：鼻子有点塌。人家都说嘴唇薄的人能说会道，我天生就是厚嘴唇，但却比嘴唇薄的人更能说。同学们佩服地叫我“汤sir”，老师有时笑着说我：“老汤，你可真能辩!”

我自认为优点很多，但随着年龄的增长也认识到了自己的一些缺点。先说说我的缺点吧。我虽然能说会道，可也给自己带来了一些烦恼。

有一次，活动课上，老师要求我们想一想自己都见过哪些海洋生物。这时，我想起了自己曾在青岛水族馆见到的鲸的标本，就坐不住了。在老师转过身去写字的时候，我就把自己的所见一句一句地向同桌“发射”过去。老师转过身来发现了，对我投来了不满的目光。可我就是改不掉这个老毛病。就因为这些，我没少挨老师的训，爸爸、妈妈也经常责备我。

说起这些，你一定会觉得我是个不听话的孩子。但一说到优点，你们准会眉开眼笑：上课抢着举手，理解能力强，作业工整，劳动积极，帮家长做家务等等。你也许会觉得我的缺点和优点比起来，简直可以说是白玉上的一小点“瑕疵”吧!嘿嘿，与大局无妨。

But when it comes to advantages, you'll smile: rush to raise your hand in class, have a strong understanding ability, do your homework neatly, work actively, help your parents do housework and so on. You may think that compared with my advantages and disadvantages, it's a little "defect" on white jade. Hehe, it's no harm to the overall situation.

再来说我的性格和爱好吧。我性格活泼，也很幽默，常常说一些笑话逗同学们笑。课间，我经常也会讲一些故事给同学们听。当然这些都归功于我最亲密的伙伴——书。我爱看书，一看起书来就什么也不顾了。瞧，那个坐在椅子上看书的小男孩就是我。“琦琦，来吃饭”，准是妈妈在喊我了。我的精神都集中在书上，哪儿会听见妈妈喊呢?怪不得妈妈说我的脑细胞是直的。

Of course, I owe it all to my closest friend, the book. I love reading. I don't care what I read. Look, the little boy who is reading in the chair is me. "Qiqi, come to have dinner", it must be my mother calling me. My mind is focused on books. Where can I hear my mother shouting? No wonder my mother says my brain cells are straight.
