意外的发现

今天下午，奇迹发生了。我和姐姐画完画回家，因为有的颜料画完了，所以要在从颜料罐里取一些出来。用毛笔取不方便，我们便用小竹片取，可是小竹片还不够，姐姐便找来旧的拖把，我找来了小刀。

This afternoon, a miracle happened. My sister and I finished painting and went home. Because some paints were finished, we had to take some out of the paint can. It's not convenient to use a brush, so we use small bamboo pieces to take it, but the small bamboo pieces are not enough, so my sister found the old mop, and I found the knife.

我们正忙着锯妈妈却叫我帮忙拿东西，等我回来，姐姐一家锯了好歹根了，只剩下一根最粗的了，我忙帮着锯，可是好久都没有锯开。怎么办呢？偶然间我把小刀往后一划，咦，怎么跑出声音来了，而且很像古筝发出的声音。于是，我跑去问妈妈，妈妈说：“其实它发出声音的原因跟你说话一样。你说一句话，并用手摸着脖子，看看说话的时候那里是不是在振动？”我试了试，果然如此。原来是振动使小竹片发出了声音。

" I tried, and I did. It was the vibration that made the little bamboo piece make a sound.
