游兴隆热带植物园

今年暑假，我们一家人去海南旅游，并参观了兴隆热带植物园。

This summer vacation, our family went to Hainan for a tour and visited Xinglong Tropical Botanical Garden.

走进了兴隆热带植物园，只见园内树木高大茂盛、郁郁葱葱。里面种满了各种各样的奇花异草和珍奇树种，有香草兰、可可，有狐尾椰、旅人蕉，还有传说中的“见血封喉”……。当导游向我们介绍橡胶树的时候，外婆感慨地说：“以前知识青年上山下乡，开垦荒地，每天凌晨一、二点钟就要起床割胶，等到早上八、九点钟又要去收胶水，工作非常辛苦。橡胶树的胶水有很大的用处，可以做成汽车的轮胎、胶鞋等等。以前的生活是多么的艰苦，现在国家富强了，经济也发达了，一切都是现代化和高科技，人们的生活都变得幸福美好了。”

When the guide introduced the rubber tree to us, grandma said with emotion: "before, the educated youth went to the countryside and the mountains to reclaim the wasteland. They had to get up at one or two o'clock in the morning to cut the rubber, and then they had to collect the glue at eight or nine o'clock in the morning. It was very hard work. Rubber tree glue has great use, can be made into car tires, rubber shoes and so on. How hard life used to be. Now that the country is rich and strong and the economy is developed, everything is modern and high-tech, people's lives have become happy and beautiful. "

听了外婆的话，我想：以后我一定要珍惜现在的美好生活，刻苦学习，将来用自己学到的知识去报效祖国。
