今天，老师带着我们做了一个有趣的实验。

Today, the teacher took us to do an interesting experiment.

首先，把一角的硬币按在卡纸上面，再用铅笔勾画出硬币的外沿，接着再用剪刀沿着勾画的外沿剪下来，这样第一步就完成了。

First, press a dime on the cardboard, draw the outer edge of the coin with a pencil, and then cut it with a pair of scissors along the outer edge, so the first step is finished.

接下来老师提了一个奇怪的问题：“如果把纸片放在硬币的上方，让它们从空中落下，谁会先落下呢？”我很坚决地回答：“是硬币。”老师微微一笑，摇摇头说：“那可不一定，要想知道答案就动手做做看。”

Then the teacher asked a strange question: "if you put the paper above the coins and let them fall from the air, who will fall first?" I replied firmly, "it's a coin." The teacher smiled and shook his head and said, "that's not necessary. If you want to know the answer, you can do it."

我兴奋地把纸片放在硬币的上面，然后松开手，纸片和硬币居然同时掉在了地上，这是怎么回事呢？后来，我又连续做了七八次，像刚才的情况出事了５次。

I excitedly put the paper on the top of the coin, and then released my hand. The paper and the coin fell on the ground at the same time. What's the matter? Later, I did it seven or eight times in a row, like the situation just now happened five times.

我左思右想都不明白，硬币比纸片重呀。老师这才说：“当纸片紧贴着硬币的时候，它们之间几乎没有空气，就像胶水一样把它们粘在一起，所以才会同时落下。”

I don't get it on my head. Coins are heavier than paper. The teacher said: "when the paper sticks to the coins, there is almost no air between them, just like glue to stick them together, so it will fall at the same time."

我恍然大悟，要想知道正确的答案必须亲自动手去做实验才能知道。我觉得科学实验非常有趣。

I suddenly realized that if I want to know the right answer, I must do experiments by myself. I find scientific experiments very interesting.
