爸爸的生日

今天是爸爸的生日，爸爸是一名警察，一大清早爸爸就去上班了。

Today is my father's birthday. My father is a policeman. He went to work early in the morning.

我和妈妈早就商量好怎样给爸爸过生日了。我们商量的是：先给爸爸准备好蛋糕，摆好杯子，我拿着花躲在门后。可到了下班的时间爸爸没回来，我们等啊等，等到了九点爸爸依然没有回来。我问妈妈：“爸爸为什么还不回来？”妈妈说：“你爸爸说不定接到了什么任务，在等一会儿吧。”这时门铃突然响了起来，妈妈从门里往外一看，原来是爸爸。妈妈小声地说：“准备好！”如何妈妈打开门爸爸走了进来，我从门后跳了出来说:“爸爸，生日快乐！”接着把花给了爸爸。爸爸又惊又喜，这时妈妈把灯关上点燃了生日蜡烛。我们一家三口高高兴兴地吃起了大大的生日蛋糕。

How mom opened the door? Dad came in. I jumped out from behind the door and said, "happy birthday, Dad!" Then he gave the flowers to Dad. My father was surprised and happy. Then my mother turned off the light and lit the birthday candle. Our family happily ate a big birthday cake.
