Hollywood legend Olivia de Havilland, star of "Gone With the Wind", died on Sunday at the age of 104 at her home in Paris. Publicist Lisa Goldberg said she died peacefully of natural causes.

7月26日，曾出演《乱世佳人》的好莱坞传奇女星奥利维娅·德·哈维兰在其巴黎的家中安详去世，享年104岁。公关人员丽莎·高登伯格称，哈维兰是自然死亡。

The doe-eyed actress beloved to millions as the sainted Melanie Wilkes in "Gone With the Wind" also won two Oscars and was key to improving Hollywood's contract system for actors.

有着小鹿般眼睛的哈维兰凭借在《乱世佳人》中饰演如圣洁善良的梅兰妮·威尔克斯，受到千千万万观众的喜爱。她曾两度获得奥斯卡奖，也是改善好莱坞演员合同制的关键人物。

De Havilland was the sister of fellow Oscar winner Joan Fontaine, with whom she had a troubled relationship.

哈维兰和同为奥斯卡影后的琼·芳登是亲姐妹，但两人的关系势同水火。

During a career that spanned six decades, she also took on roles ranging from an unwed mother to a psychiatric inmate in "The Snake Pit".

She also performed in a series of dramas, Westerns and period pieces, most memorably as Maid Marian in "The Adventures of Robin Hood."
