两只老鼠

一天，老鼠胖子和老鼠瘦子在山边玩。

One day, the fat mouse and the thin mouse were playing by the side of the mountain.

忽然，他们两个看到山对岸有一棵苹果树，苹果树上硕果累累，又大又圆的苹果压弯了枝头。他们见了直流口水。胖子对瘦子说：“我们到对岸去摘苹果吧！”可瘦子却失望地说：“我们没办法摘到苹果啊！我们又不会飞。”于是，他们绞尽脑汁想出了个办法，从家里搬来了一块又宽又长的木板，去摘苹果。

Suddenly, the two of them saw an apple tree on the other side of the mountain. The apple tree was full of fruits, and the big and round apple bent its branches. They saw a torrent of saliva. The fat man said to the thin man, "let's go to the other side to pick apples." But the thin man was disappointed and said, "we can't pick apples! We can't fly. 到了目的地，胖子压住木板的一头，叫瘦子从木板上走过去。瘦子小心翼翼地移向木板的另一端。终于能摘到苹果了，瘦子用手紧紧抱住苹果，使劲地把苹果摘下来。

瘦子摘下苹果，放到鼻子前一闻，啊，真香，可胖子急红了眼，连声说：“瘦子，把苹果还给我。”瘦子说：“苹果是我的，不给你。”胖子急了，他松开木板去争夺苹果。这下可糟了，木板一滑，胖子和瘦子一同掉下了悬崖。可怜的老鼠，他们不但没有吃到苹果，还把自己的命给送了。
