我和外婆学英语

星期天的中午我和妈妈去外婆家，我一进门就看到餐桌上有一包糖果。外婆说是这是喜糖，原来昨天外婆去参加一个阿姨的婚礼了。

At noon on Sunday, my mother and I went to grandma's house. As soon as I came in, I saw a bag of candy on the table. Grandma said it's wedding candy, so grandma went to an aunt's wedding yesterday.

我正想拿起来吃的时候，被大舅看见了。大舅及时地制止了我。大舅说糖吃多了对牙齿不好。我很不情愿地放下了手中的糖果。这时外婆走了过来对我说：“吃一个糖果，没有关系的”。我看见妈妈对外婆摇摇头。大舅笑咪咪地走到我身边蹲下来问我：“你知道糖果用英语怎么说吗”我说不知道。“那我来告诉你和外婆吧，吃过饭后我来考考你和外婆，如果你们都答对了，我就奖励你们一人一个糖果好不好？”大舅高兴地对着我和外婆说。我们同意了。于是大舅说：糖果这个词用英语说是“Candy“也就是说是看地不是吃地，你们记住了吗？”我和外婆都觉得这也太简单了。

I was about to take it up to eat when my uncle saw me. My uncle stopped me in time. Uncle said it's bad for your teeth to eat too much sugar. I reluctantly put down the candy in my hand. Then grandma came to me and said, "it doesn't matter to eat a candy.". I saw my mother shake her head. My uncle came to me with a smile and squatted down to ask me, "do you know how to say candy in English?" I said I didn't know. "Let me tell you and grandma. After dinner, I'll test you and grandma. If you're all right, I'll reward you with a candy, OK?" My uncle said happily to me and grandma. We agreed. So my uncle said, "candy" in English, that is, to see the ground is not to eat it. 大舅午睡起来后就问我和外婆，糖果用英语怎么说的啊？外婆迫不及待地说：“糖果是收起来的”外婆还不知道怎么回事，就听见我和大舅笑开了花。外婆看我们笑得那么开心也跟着我们笑了。
