校园里的小故事

星期五下午，林老师给我们讲评日记。

On Friday afternoon, Mr. Lin commented on our diary.

老师请日记写得好的同学上讲台念自己的日记。我们认真地听着，不时发出会心的微笑或给他们热烈的掌声。突然，林老师请我去念，我不敢上去，害羞地低着头，内心激烈地斗争。林老师走到我身边，耐心地鼓励我，我鼓足了勇气走上讲台。

The teacher asked the students with good diaries to read their diaries on the stage. We listened carefully, and from time to time we gave them a knowing smile or warm applause. All of a sudden, Miss Lin asked me to read it. I dare not go up. I lowered my head shyly and fought fiercely in my heart. Mr. Lin came to me and encouraged me patiently. I summoned up my courage to step on the platform.

刚开始念，我不敢大声，声小如蚊，讲台下的同学根本听不见。林老师悄悄地竖起大拇指，暗示我要勇敢，给我力量，我终于放开声音念了起来，我渐渐进入角色，仿佛再现我写日记的情景。念到精彩的部分，同学们都开心地笑了起来。

At first, I dare not speak loudly. The voice is as small as a mosquito. The students under the platform can't hear it at all. Mr. Lin quietly thumbs up, suggesting that I should be brave and give me strength. Finally, I let go of my voice and read it. I gradually enter the role, as if to reproduce the scene of my diary writing. Reading the wonderful part, the students all laughed happily.

我在同学们的掌声中走下讲台，心里一种从未有过的甜意。

I stepped down from the platform in the applause of my classmates, with a sweetness in my heart.

林老师说：“洪欣奕，你很勇敢，要继续努力。”

Mr. Lin said, "Hong Xinyi, you are very brave. You should continue to work hard."

今天，我很开心，我终于迈出了第一步。今后，我一定要继续努力，不让老师和同学们失望。
