星期天，我和妈妈去农科院后面的试验田准备观察庄稼，那里外面有栏栅，我们进不去，但是我们能看到里面种的有玉米和高粱。中间有特别高的高粱株，数了数大概有20多株，每株都有2--3米高。栏栅边有一些还没收的玉米株，每株有1米多高，可以仔细观察一下，玉米整株很漂亮，上面有很宽的叶子，像棕叶；顶部是花穗，像麦穗；中间长着玉米棒，玉米棒顶上有许多絮缨，像山羊的胡子；玉米杆与甘蔗很像，一节一节的。妈妈说：“玉米收后， 玉米秸杆经加工，饲喂奶牛是适口性很好的饲料”。 我们观察完玉米、高粱后，就去捉蚂蚱。一会儿我就发现一个褐色的小蚂蚱在跳，我小心轻轻地走过去，我扑我逮，我终于逮着了那只小蚂蚱，而且还编起顺口溜：一只蚂蚱四只腿，两只蚂蚱八只腿，它蹦呀蹦呀蹦，它就是蹦不动，原来是少了两只大腿。最后我们开开心心地回去了。

After a while, I found a small brown grasshopper jumping. I walked over carefully and gently. I caught it. I finally caught the little grasshopper, and I made up a smooth line: one Grasshopper had four legs, two grasshoppers had eight legs, and it jumped and jumped. It just couldn't jump. It had two legs missing. At last we went back happily.
