"Helping others is the foundation of happiness" there are old people in need everywhere in the world.

小兰的姑娘的邻居是一位年迈的苗族老奶奶，她姓王，人们都叫她王奶奶。

Xiaolan's girl's neighbor is an old Miao grandmother. Her surname is Wang. People call her Grandma Wang.

小兰经常照顾王奶奶。这些天王奶奶常常头晕。这天她洗了一会衣服感觉不舒服便走到床上躺下了。小兰做完功课，听到王奶奶家没动静，很不放心，就走到她家看看。她一进门，就看到王奶奶在睡觉，阳台上却有一堆脏衣服。她想：对了！王奶奶这些天身体不好，那我就帮她洗吧！于是，她轻手轻脚走进了王奶奶家的阳台，关上了阳台的门，悄悄地洗起衣服来。尽管天气并不炎热，但一颗颗黄豆般大小的汗珠还是从小兰的脸上、背上滑落。不一会，衣服洗好了。她还看到旁边有一罐天蓝色的颜料和一张白色的布。她又把白布给染好颜色。
