WARSAW, Oct.28 -- Legia Warsaw smashed Wisla 7-0 in Polish Ekstraklasa on Sunday. The team coached by Maciej Stolarczyk suffered their fifth defeat in a row.

Legia imposed dominance from the beginning, breaking the deadlock in the second minute. Aleksandar Vukovic's players had no problems with creating chances, while Wisla was fully focused on the defense.

Jose Kante led his team to a massive victory with three goals. Luquinhas, Arvydas Novikovas, Pawel Wszolek, and Jaroslaw Niezgoda also found the net. The hosts scored three goals in the last 15 minutes.

"We played a really bad match. It's hard to say something and analyze the reasons for the defeat. We can just say sorry to our fans. We have to find the solution as we lost five consecutive matches. Legia showed the courage and they were effective," said Wisla coach Maciej Stolarczyk in the post-match press conference.

Stolarczyk is under huge pressure, as it's believed that he is close to being sacked. Legia's coach Aleksandar Vukovic backed his rival after the match.

"I'm sorry for Maciej Stolarczyk, I know it's a hard moment for him. He should keep faith that Wisla will play better in the next matches. We played until the final whistle, thinking about scoring the next goals. I congratulate my players, but in the standings, 7-0 victory is the same as 1-0 result. In both cases you get three points," claimed Vukovic.
